Workman allowed one run on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 6.2 innings for Triple-A Pawtucket on Friday. He was making his first start for the PawSox since getting demoted from Boston. This was Workman's best outing in a long time, but he continued a trend of giving up long balls. He allowed one Friday and has now given up 10 homers in 61.1 innings in the minors. Between Boston and Pawtucket, Workman's ceded 20 long balls in 134.1 innings.
