With two on and zero out in the top of the ninth inning on Monday, Craig Kimbrel struck out the side, preserving a 2-0 Braves win over the Blue Jays at home. Tim Hudson allowed just one hit through the first eight innings, but allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base in the ninth, giving way to Kimbrel. He mowed down the heart of the Blue Jays order, fanning Corey Patterson swinging, Jose Bautista looking and Adam Lind swinging. The save was Kimbrel's second in two days after he made four straight appearances in non-save situations.
