With Troy Tulowitzki (hip) out for the rest of the regular season, Rutledge figures to remain the Rockies' regular shortstop moving forward. Rutledge has been the Rockies' primary shortstop since Tulowitzki was sidelined in late July, and he is the top option to remain in that role through the rest of this season. Rutledge posted an .839 OPS in July but has gone just 5-for-41 (.122) this month, so he could lose some starts to Charlie Culberson if he is unable to get back on track with his bat.
