Wisler (6-12) was hammered for six runs on 10 hits and two walks in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins. For the first time in his 23 starts this season, he failed to notch a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
After a terrible July (1-4 with an 8.89 ERA), Wisler appeared to be back on track in late August when he was recalled from a stint at Triple-A Gwinnett. He was then sidelined by side soreness for a couple of weeks before getting back on the hill Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the 24-year-old Wisler, his return resembled the pitcher we saw in July rather than August. He'll look to rebound in his next start Monday on the road against the Mets.
