Wisdom went 0-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's Grapefruit League loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Wisdom has spent the last two seasons at Triple-A Memphis, and he had a particularly good campaign last year when he slashed .243/.310/.507 and hit 31 home runs in 456 at-bats. A strong spring could have put him in the conversation for a 40-man roster spot, but Wisdom is off to a rough start so far, as he's just 3-for-17 with three strikeouts. He will need to produce with the bat in these final three weeks of spring training in order to leave a positive impression on management. However, even if he does begin the year at Triple-A, he'd have a good chance of being a mid-season callup, making him an interesting plug-and-play option due to his above-average power numbers in the minors.
