Winker is slashing .232/.352/.326 with two home runs and four steals in 165 plate appearances with Double-A Pensacola. Winker now has 257 plate appearances (60 games) at Double-A under his belt dating back to last year and he is slashing just .223/.342/.335 with four home runs over that span. The adjustment between High-A and Double-A can be one of the most difficult transitions for a hitter, and Winker has certainly struggled so far in the Southern League. He is still comfortably a top-100 prospect, but his prospect stock is trending in the wrong direction.
