The hope for most of camp was that Wilson would recover in time to open the season in the rotation, but his shoulder has simply not cooperated. Surgery is not yet on the table, but it's getting to the point where Wilson is looking into modifying his delivery. The 35-year-old hasn't seen a game, regular season or spring training, since last July and is virtually guaranteed to start the season on the DL with this news.
