Reds manager David Bell told reporters that Weaver (forearm) will throw Friday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Bell says that Weaver being able to throw Friday is a "really good sign." The right-hander has dealt with right forearm soreness this spring, but it sounds like Cincinnati is just taking precautions with him in the middle of Cactus League play. There's a good chance Weaver returns to the mound in the coming days.
