Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Schwarber will begin playing the outfield this weekend against the Rangers, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Schwarber has seen action exclusively at designated hitter since returning from a hamstring injury. "He's feeling a lot better," Cora said. "You saw him running yesterday. He moved well." Schwarber is also working out at first base, but Cora indicated he's not yet ready for game action at the new position.
