Correa (heel) will not return by the end of the month as he hasn't been able to run with spikes on or at full speed, but did run at 80% intensity for 30 yards in regular shoes before Friday's game, Bobby Nightengale of the Minnesota Star Tribune reports
EDGE Analysis
Correa was placed on the IL on July 20 due to right plantar fasciitis. The Twins weren't initially expecting him to miss much time, but Correa's return date keeps getting pushed back while he's continued to deal with soreness after running. He at least is making slow progress as he was able to increase his intensity Friday. He may not return until sometime in September as a result.
