Wieters will start back-to-back games behind the plate for the first time all season Tuesday, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports. Wieters did get occasional playing time as a DH over the last few weeks, but the Orioles' restriction still cost him some at-bats. He's recorded just 71 since returning from the disabled list June 5, picking up 18 hits, three home runs, 10 RBI and nine runs, with a .254/.276/.493 slash line. The Orioles may not ask Wieters to shoulder as heavy of a workload as in past seasons, but that could change later in the year if the team is still contending for a playoff spot.
