Wieters will be behind the plate for the first time in spring training for Baltimore's Grapefruit League game Tuesday, MASN Sports reports. Wieters is right on his scheduled time in making his return behind the dish. He caught minor league games Saturday and Sunday, but there was no report that he had thrown to second base in those games. Wieters should certainly be able to make those throws at this point if he is starting a spring training game. Look for Wieters to get frequent days off over the next week to ease into the role, but it does appear that he is on track for the Opening Day lineup.
