EDGE Analysis
The catcher raised his average 23 points with his first three-hit effort of the year. After a slow start (.214 in 56 at-bats in April), Wieters has picked it up as of late, hitting .324/.343/.559 in 34 at-bats in May. He's struggled with injuries the past two seasons after posting three straight campaigns of 20-plus home runs from 2011-2014. Not to say he will get back to those numbers (because he likely won't), however Wieters can certainly be a valuable catcher is most formats, assuming he remains healthy.
