Caleb Joseph will take over behind the plate and bat ninth against lefty CC Sabathia as Wieters sits out for the first time in over a week. Wieters is batting just .198/.274/.279 against left-handed pitching this season, down from .265/.301/.426 a year ago, but he will continue to handle primary catching duties down the stretch.
