Wieters has been progressing well from elbow injury he incurred earlier in spring training, and now feels well enough to start behind the dish on Opening Day. He'll sit out of Saturday's spring tilt, however, so he may still be limited in some capacity in terms of starting multiple days in a row. That should become clearer once the regular season rolls around, though.
