Whitley (elbow) continued his impressive string of rehab appearances on Tuesday, firing six scoreless innings of four-hit ball for High-A Charlotte against Jupiter while striking out six. He also hit a batter.

EDGE Analysis

While the step down in competition from Double-A likely helped, Whitley nevertheless looked impressive while mostly breezing through his six frames on 92 pitches, 67 of which found the strike zone. He's now given up just two earned runs over 21 innings in his rehab work while fanning 24 over that span. Whitley's next step is yet to be determined, but should become known in the coming days.
