White Sox released 1B/OF Lars Anderson. Anderson, who was acquired from the Blue Jays at the end of spring training, was batting just .194/.302/.251 through 266 plate appearances with Triple-A Charlotte. The 25-year-old will attempt to latch on elsewhere.
