White Sox prospect IF/OF Marcus Semien went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI on Sunday for Triple-A Charlotte. He also scored three runs and drew a walk in the game. Semien struggled last month after receiving a demotion to Triple-A, as the 23-year-old batted just .188/.292/.365 over 27 games. In July, however, Semien's bat has come alive to the tune of a .333/.429/.604 batting line, two home runs, seven doubles and 15 RBI through 12 games. He also has emerged as a super utility man, as he's seen time at numerous positions including second and third base, shortstop and left field. Expect Semien to return to the major leagues at some point during the second half of the season.
