White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Brent Morel is "still in the mix" for the team's third base job. Morel is coming off a disastrous 2012, and was limited to just 35 games due to injury before finishing out the season at Triple-A Charlotte. The White Sox have since signed Jeff Keppinger to a three-year deal, but Morel will be given an opportunity to compete for a roster spot in spring training. The 25-year-old has a .230/.273/.338 batting line and .612 OPS over parts of three seasons in the majors and remains well off the fantasy radar.
