White Sox general manager Kenny Williams hasn't dismissed the possibility of picking up Brett Myers' $10 million option for 2013 and moving him into the rotation. The Sox aren't going to pay Myers $10 million to be a setup man, but he might not be a bad investment at that rate for one year as a starter. Of course, they also have a $9.5 million option on Gavin Floyd and have Chris Sale, John Danks, Jose Quintana and Hector Santiago available as rotation options. Myers posted a 3.12 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over 35 games with the Sox after coming over from Houston via trade.
