White Sox declined RHP Brett Myers' $10 million option for 2013. The Sox considered the possibility of picking up the option and using Myers as a starter, but after bringing both Jake Peavy and Gavin Floyd back, it didn't make sense. Myers, 32, should hold some appeal on the free agent market as a starter or possibly a closer.
