White Sox activated RHP Gavin Floyd from the 15-day disabled list. Floyd will make his return Wednesday night for a critical start against the Tigers. The 29-year-old right-hander hasn't pitched since August 26 due to a flexor strain in his right elbow. He has a 4.55 ERA and 114/53 K/BB ratio in 138 1/3 innings this year.
