White Sox acquired OF Gorkys Hernandez from the Royals in exchange for cash considerations; assigned him to Triple-A Charlotte. The White Sox are looking for a little outfield depth following the injury to Avisail Garcia. Hernandez, 26, was up in the big leagues for 173 plate appearances in 2012 but spent all of last season at Triple-A with the Royals and Marlins, batting .263/.318/.367 with six homers and 25 steals.
