Wei-Yin Chen was tagged for five runs in four innings by the Mariners in a loss Wednesday. The outing matched Chen's shortest in his previous 37 big-league starts. This was supposed to be a bit of a break for him after a tough April schedule (road starts against the Rays, Red Sox, Yankees and A's, home against the Dodgers), but the Mariners are swinging better of late and they kept it going tonight. Chen is now 2-3 with a 3.50 ERA.
