Wei-Yin Chen allowed five earned runs over 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Saturday. It was the shortest start of his career. The Rays got to Chen for seven hits -- including three home runs -- pushing his season ERA from 3.84 to 4.19. He will try to bounce back next week against the Rangers.
