Weeks suffered a minor hamstring injury in Tuesday's spring training game, but is expected to return to the field in the near future, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. Weeks will not play Wednesday, but it appears the injury won't hold him out long. Assuming he returns in short order, he's slated to serve as the backup at first base and left field for the Mariners this season, receiving starts against lefties in left field as part of a platoon with Dustin Ackley.
