Weaver's scheduled start for Saturday in the Cactus League has been scratched in favor of an exhibition game Sunday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

This is another setback in the road back for Weaver, who was diagnosed with mild degenerative changes in his cervical spine on Monday. Weaver could be facing a lengthy DL stint to open the season and it's unclear as to how effective he will be upon his return.
