The highly-touted prospect has been out since last week after experiencing back spasms, but it appears the Cardinals can breath a sigh of relief. After completing a bullpen session Monday without issue, Weaver will likely be eased back into game action this spring as he competes for a spot in the rotation. The 2013 first-round pick compiled a 5.70 ERA in nine major league appearances last season.
