Weaver (4-4) allowed four runs on six hits, struck out three and walked three over six innings in a loss to the Astros on Saturday.

The right-hander continues to struggle in multiple areas. Weaver has now allowed eight homers in his last 30 innings. For the season, his HR/9 is a career-high 1.9. Weaver also has six walks versus just 11 strikeouts in his last three outings and on Saturday, he induced only three swing-and-misses. All these problems are at least partially due to the lower velocity Weaver has shown this season. He will look to get on track in his next start Friday against the Pirates.
