Wandy Rodriguez is likely to clear waivers Tuesday. Rodriguez is due $10 million next season, $13 million in 2013 and carries a $13 million vesting option for 2014, so he should pass by all 30 MLB teams unclaimed. But the talented 32-year-old left-hander will draw plenty of interest once he hits the open trade market and could be dealt to a contender before the August 31 deadline. The Yankees expressed some interest back in late July.
