Wandy Rodriguez (forearm) throw off the mound Wednesday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list. The next step calls for him to throw a bullpen session Sunday. Rodriguez has been out since June 5 with forearm soreness, but there's a chance he could rejoin the Pirates in September if he can avoid setbacks.
