Wandy Rodriguez (elbow) has resumed throwing and says that his arm "feels good." Rodriguez was limited to just 12 starts last season due to forearm/elbow pain, but he said he didn't feel anything during a long-toss session last month. The veteran southpaw hopes to begin throwing bullpen sessions in a couple of weeks, after which he should have a better idea of his progress. Rodriguez exercised a $13 million player option in November and should be a part of the Pirates' rotation in 2014 if healthy.
