Wandy Rodriguez became the latest pitcher to befuddle the Giants, shutting them out on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over eight innings in the 6-0 win. Sidney Ponson could probably come out of retirement and shut the Giants down at this point, so it's no surprise that someone with some actual talent held them in check. Wandy has given up only two earned runs over his last three starts as he showcases himself for a possible post-deadline trade. If he's still with the Astros, he'll carry a 3.31 ERA and 1.27 WHIP into next week's start in Colorado.
