Walters was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday. Walters was recalled from Triple-A on May 8, but went 1-for-17 at the dish since his recall. As a result, he was the odd man out, as the Indians needed a 25-man roster spot for Wednesday's start, Shaun Marcum, and he'll return to the minors.
