Walters (oblique) is expected to start a rehab assignment at Triple-A Columbus this week, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Walters has progressed slower than initially anticipated, but he should be able to rejoin the big league club after only a brief rehab stint. If the current timetable holds, the 25-year-old could make his return before the start of May.
