Wainwright will undergo elbow surgery, Will Carroll of Bleacher Report reports. Wainwright was dealing with some elbow issues during the playoffs, but it didn't force him to miss any action and was cleared to have a normal offseason. The surgery will deal with a bone spur situation, normally a minor procedure, so he should be good to go before spring training.
