Wainwright (elbow) threw a bullpen session Thursday and estimated he hit 90 mph, David Solomon of 550 KTRS radio reports. He's next scheduled for a bullpen session Saturday or Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The right-hander seems to be on track for a return, perhaps within the next week. Wainwright may only be limited to one or two starts the rest of the way, however, and his eroding skills make him an uninviting mixed-league starter anyway. Of course, desperate streamer times could call for the measure of adding him for a dart at a win and some strikeouts.
