Votto (quadriceps) went 0-for-1 with a strikeout and a walk in Monday's Cactus League game against the Angels, his second game of the spring. Votto drew a free pass in his first trip but was then caught looking on an Andrew Heaney slider in the third inning, after going 1-for-2 in his debut Saturday. The 31-year-old told the Cincinnati Enquirer after Saturday's game, "All of it was great. All of it was fine. I think we're just about done with these sort of questions." While the Reds figure to continue taking some precautions with Votto throughout spring training, he appears to be 100 percent.
