Votto (quadriceps) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Saturday. This is just a procedural move to clear a spot on the 40-man roster, as Votto has missed close to six weeks already with the quad injury and still has yet to resume baseball activities. He'll be eligible to return Sept. 4, but it seems like a bit of a long shot to think Votto could be ready by that date.
