Votto (quadriceps) is "physically in a lot better place," according to manager Bryan Price, but his status for the Reds' final three games remains uncertain. The former NL MVP is hitting and running the bases without issue, but Price suggested Votto is still not quite at 100 percent. Considering there's only a few games remaining and the Reds have Votto under contract for a whopping nine more years, it's certainly understandable that they would be reluctant to return him to action. At this point, it would be rather surprising if Votto played this weekend.
