Volstad was recalled from Triple-A on Wednesday, Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. With Corey Hart (shoulder) hitting the DL, Volstad will come up after posting a 5-2 record and 3.43 ERA in 76.0 innings (14 appearances) at Triple-A. Volstad last pitched in the majors for the Rockies in 2013, appearing in six games and allowing an ugly 10 earned runs on 19 hits in 8.1 innings.
