Victorino was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to soreness in his ribs, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports. The soreness is presumably the result of Victorino crashing into the right field wall at Fenway Park on Friday night. Manager John Farrell initially said Victorino was fine, but the 34-year-old will need at least one day to let the discomfort subside. Daniel Nava will get the start in Victorino's absence.
