Viciedo was released on Wednesday. After a disappointing 2014 campaign in which Viciedo slashed just .231/.281/.405, the 25-year-old was designated for assignment last week. Now he'll be an outright free agent where he could command some interest from teams in need of outfield depth, but he may not receive regular at bats wherever he lands.
