Vargas hit the first home run of his career Tuesday, while going 1-for-4 at the plate with three RBI in the Twins' 3-1 win over the Padres. Vargas is now 6-for-18 with seven RBI in his first four games with the Twins. At 6'5', 273 pounds, Vargas has the look of a masher. If Vargas keeps this up, he'll be a name worth monitoring.
