Valbuena has been awful through the first 23 games of the season, hitting just .182 with no home runs and only four RBI, while striking out in 29.1 percent of his at bats. After hitting 25 home runs in 2015, the Venezuelan looks lost at the plate, but should continue to see playing time as his backup, Marwin Gonzalez, isn't producing much offensively himself.
