Utley started and batted leadoff Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a pair of runs scored in a 3-2 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Utley has now started three of the Dodgers' last four games in place of the struggling Logan Forsythe. The 38-year-old has gone 4-for-11 with three doubles and a home run over that span, potentially creating a platoon situation at the keystone. Manager Dave Roberts hasn't announced an official role change, but if Utley is in Sunday's starting lineup against the right-handed Stephen Strasburg, then it would be safe to assume that he has usurped Forsythe for regular playing time. Deep-league owners who need middle-infield help may want to take a flyer on former All Star.
