Utley is out of the lineup Wednesday, CSN Philadelphia's Jim Salisbury reports. Manager Ryne Sandberg said Tuesday that he would probably give Utley another day off Wednesday, so this comes as no surprise. Supposedly Utley needs a break to get away from the mental side of the game, so the Phillies must believe his early-season struggles are not injury or age related. Cesar Hernandez will get the start at second base and hit seventh.
