Utley is out of the lineup Friday against the Cardinals, Stephen Gross of the Philadelphia Morning Call reports. Utley emerged from his early-season slump to piece together a solid month of May, but he owns a .140/.220/.220 slash line in June, despite having a 5:6 K:BB ratio. Although his batted-ball issues appear to go beyond poor luck, his .188 BABIP is still flukishly low. He may start to get more rest, but he's in no danger of losing his starting job.
