Utley is not in the lineup Thursday against the Pirates, Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Manager Ryne Sandberg has been true to his word as far as getting Utley more days off as the season winds down, as the 35-year-old is set to sit for the second time in four days and for the fourth time in 15 games. Cesar Hernandez will man the keystone in Utley's absence as Marlon Byrd moves up the the No. 3 spot in the order.
