Utley could see more days off as the season winds down, CSN Philly reports. "I will be smart with him and pick spots possibly more often than up until now with him," manager Ryne Sandberg said. Utley has started 129 games this season after playing in 124 last year. His production has faded since the All-Star break. He hit .293 with a .794 OPS prior to the break, and has just a .237 average with a .690 OPS since the break. Freddy Galvis and Cesar Hernandez will see time at second on days when Utley is out of the lineup.
